I'm sorry I have to agree with Dane on the Star Wars movies.

The first movie was ok, but the second and third movie were really good. I don’t why both 1, 2, 3,7, 8 and 9 can’t be done has well in the same universe. Empire strike back was a great film has well.

That's what the same people that say. You either have to like Star Wars or Star Trek. I like both.

When Alex talks about what was in that article by David Wong about first Star Wars movie being like a cartoon. That's what allot people say when it comes to anime.

Am i the only one who thinks the empire strikes back was the worst of the old trilogy?
I mean the first and last thirds of it were great. But the middle part with yoda... Ugh... Makes me want to puke. Why do people love yoda, but hate jarjar? Their the same thing to me.

Anyways, great ep altho abit short. Reminds me how you havnt had a tales from asia for quite some time. Bring em on1 :P

Has for the Matrix movies. I love the first one and the Animatrix. The best stories from the Animatrix are The Second Renaissance Part 1, Program and A Detective Story.

The second and third movie to the Matrix were not that good. I stop likening second movie when Colonel Sanders showed up i.e. The Architect.

This episode has made me feel like a woman who's partner has cum to quickily. In other words I agree with Zombie Toaster; Great show, however it left me wishing for more.

Yes, I think I'll have to dig up some more "tales from Asia".

Glad to find some like-minded souls here. The internet can make a small minority look like a massive majority. Thus, we were all sure that Serenity was going to make about a trillion dollars on it's opening weekend and that the Star Wars prequels sucked and everyone hated them. (Despite the fact that episode 3 made more than episode 2??? Doesn't seem like less people went to see it, does it?)

When the veil of nostalgia is lifted, we can see that the Star Wars prequels were, overall very good! (Barring some of Ep 1.)

My favourate of the original trilogy is definitely Return Of The Jedi. Perhaps because I saw it in the cinema when I was three; I still remember it! Fond memories.

We probably could do with a slightly longer show when the need arises. We were actually going to do a "Fall season preview" episode, but then cancelled it mid production due to the time. We'll defintely do it next week. Alex will probably pre-record a review also.

Where's the Beef???
By beef I mean anime.

Boy, I really want to comment on the Star Wars prequels, but given that I sent in a lengthy email nitpicking those movies when Dane last mentioned mentioned them, I think refraining from commenting on them is the better part of valor.

Anyhoo, I still get a little whistful when I think about what Serenity might have been. It could have been the revival of the franchise but due to a combination of overzealous fans (of which I was one), lack of advertising, and what is probably one of most inappropriate names for an action movie, it fizzled. Also, Joss Whedon is a violent rapist, apparently. I still like Serenity better than the prequels.

Ok, I can't resist. You all are wrong and Phantom Menace (or at least The Phantom Edit) was arguably the best movie of the prequels, because at least it had Darth Maul and podracing (which did made a decent video game). Also, it didn't have the following groan worthy lines, classic though they may be:

"I don't like sand. It's rough and coarse, and it gets everywhere. Not like you." - Best pick up line ever

"From my point of view, the Jedi are evil"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Just look what the prequels did to poor Darth Vader. They made him very sad indeed.

Yes, and I'll play your promo five times an episode if you bitch slap him for making bad comments about Star Wars episode III.

Just kidding Kent, you know I love ya' Baby! (talking with an Ike Turner voice)

... Su, su , sorry Dane! I didn't mean it, honest. Even with a ridiculous amount of CG (CG babies even) and stiff acting, Star Wars: Episode III is the g-g-greatest movie ever.

What's that, oh, I, uh, just fell into the door. That's all.

Uh oh, Big Daddy Dane's coming back ... HIDE!

No, not the belt Dane, not the belt! ... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

-I wasnt a big fan of the episode one ,but after watching it over 6 times in a row I started to like it(though i am also a huge fan of the anime Odin)
-But episode 2 and 3 I thought was really good, I loved the Jango fett part in the start of part 2.
-Dane did you ever check out the star wars manga they put out a few years back???

Dagnammit, if only my wife was understanding as you Kent!

Regan, I did indeed see the Star Wars manga quite a while ago, it was pretty unique for it's time!
