Talk about stuttering!
Update: Added a link to Alex's precious Polka Dot Door
Shootin' The Breeze
We talk about the future plans of our show. We decided that quality is more important than quantity. Thus, the epic 140 minute show might be a thing of the past. It's exhausting for me to edit and make show notes of, so I think things would be all-around better if we made things sharper at about 70 minutes an episode. What do you think?
Here is a rather amusing clip from an old Australian kids show, "Agro's Cartoon Connection".
Me and Alex also talk about Japanese baseball and it's passionate fans.
We then discuss Anime Genesis and DuoMatrix's entry into the public radio quest. Check it out and help the fellow out!

Wait a minute Mr Postman!
David Lee discusses the wonderful Skullman with us as well as sending us a torrent link to the subbed, live action episode 0. The torrent link can be found in the comments section of our previous episode. Check it out!
I also mention FourZeroFour. The wonderful website for fansub direct download links! Many of which we talk about every week!
We also get a fantastic e-mail from a listener called "Jim" who made our week with his kind comments. He brought up an interesting point about dubs which we mentioned earlier.
Our conversation kind of verged off into politics and Alex was lamenting on how he could not think of any good contemperary political anime or manga.
I mentioned "Eagle: The making of an Asian American President". If anyone has read this, what is your opinion of it?

News
Not much news this week, folks. We mostly talk about the remastering of Macross 7 and Macross Plus in Hi-Def as well as a remastering for DVD. Alex thinks that High-Def anime is pointless as high definition anime won't add much to the quality when compared to Standard-def.
Review: Agent Aika Virgin Mission
I think Alex liked it more than me. We will be watching future installments, so it wasn't that bad overall. I just felt that if a panty fetish themed show is lacking in story, then it shouldn't be lacking in panty shots or vice-versa. However, I think both aspects were just lacking enough to leave me sadly, underwhelmed.

It's a wrap!
We talk about a few other "pervy" Anime comedies, such as the always hilarious Goldenboy. We'll have to review that one!
Until next week my dears!

I can remember when Sailor Moon was on Agro's Cartoon Connection, too ...
Just thought you'd like to know that I started watching Fist of the North Star because of your movie review.
Just wanted to say that we at AG have dubbed thee AniPac. Congrats on the shortening of your name. Make sure to spread it all over so that people will slip on it and so, "Oh! AniPac! You are so slick and good! We love you!"
That is all.
As for your content. Theres a reason why I listen to multiple podcasts. Each podcasts that I listen to offers something different. You guys offer information about asian culture that comes from experience which is why I listen each week. So its not a big deal if your not the 6th podcast to review the same hot new anime of the week. If you did that then there'd be no reason to listen in.
As for aura battler dunbine, I'll have to see if its cheaper to buy it off the shelf from the store or if it'll be cheaper to buy it online. I think I'll have to neglect all my usual activites over the weekend and do a hardcore marathon of macross and my newly acquired space adventure cobra. Because both are pretty lengthy series and I'm only a few episodes into both.
AniPac! There we go! Now we actually have an excuse for having PacMan-esque font for our title. Now that I think about it, "Pac" as in "Pacman" and "Pac" as in Pacific... a bit of wordplay there! If only I would have realized this sooner, I could have appeared smarter than I actually am.
I'm sure the Australian Pharmaceutical Advisory Council will be jubilant, as the looming threat of underexposure seems to have subsided now that we won't use that acronyn. However, they face fierce competition from fellow acronym holders, such as the Australian Partnership for Advanced Computing and the Asia Pacific Aerospace consultants.
However, our decision to change our acronym to AniPac may be the ripple in the pond that gives birth to the Tsunami.
The town of Apac, which I'm told is the chief town of the Apac District in Uganda could have had it's tourist industry boosted tenfold were it to share a name which is the acronym of the world's premiere podcast. Poor Uganda hasn't had it easy!
Regarding Aura Battler Dunbine, I'm steadily working my way through the series, and am planning a "stellar" review.
I've actually decided to revamp the whole review system and make it more calculated, similar to websites like "Gamespot".
I'm bereaved over a lot of reviews I see and plan on deliveing reviews which state exactly why I like said anime.
Factors such as nostalgia, animation, music, etc.. should all be included. I'm glad you're checking out Cobra, the middle chunk of the series is the best, I'm told. After I mail the fansubs over to Alex, hopefully we'll chug through it and review it together.
It should be our second "epic review" after Aura Battler Dunbine. I use the word epic, because it's much easier to review a film, OVA or short TV series, than a full on series.
We could always review Bleach each and every week if you'd like though! ;)
Don't know if you ever saw the show (it was mainly on in the UK - a bit like the Sooty Show meets Sesame Street), but this is pretty funny either way!
